Meet the Passionfruit Marketing Team

So what is Passionfruit?
We span across multiple timezones, have offices in New York and London, and are fortunate to say we work with big enterprise businesses and high-growth scale-ups like PepsiCo, Mars, ABinBev, HSBC, L’Oreal, TikTok, Klaviyo, Depop (etc).
Trusted by companies around the world
But, here’s the thing. I don’t think many people in the B2B space are playing on the most important factor. That people buy from people. Our marketing strategy is based on this underlying principle. What’s the point of doing a ‘product demo’ video that doesn’t capture the heart and soul of the viewer? What’s the point of doing a large, expo style event that doesn’t make one of the attendees feel special? And so it’s on that note that I introduce the Passionfruit team!

This is a weird one, so bear with me. Our development team at Passionfruit told me that there have been quite a few searches on Google for ‘Henry Hayes Passionfruit’ (mad!) and so they suggested I should write a quick intro about myself and the work we do in the marketing function here. So, aside from feeling slightly self-absorbed writing this blog, here goes it…
I’m on a mission to become the world’s most well known comedy marketer. It’s a goal I’ve been pretty set on since the start of 2025, when my boss Raffi Salama tasked me with pushing out short-form videos on LinkedIn to help drive more awareness from companies across the globe. But why?
Well a little over 2 years ago I started to post observational comedy on Instagram and TikTok that delves into the cultural nuances of the modern day individual.
At the time I was a Marketing Director in the consumer world, but it was from these videos that Raffi found me (the weird little stalker he is) and approached me to come and lead the marketing function here at Passionfruit.
This is coupled with a new itch that needed to be scratched, Eleanor’s unparalleled acting and singing skills! We thought it would only be right for us two to start collaborating on some of our sketch shows and music videos, and in doing so give Eleanor the chance to in time produce and direct our skits! We all see a future where B2B marketing may well be won by personalities, and Eleanor is an unrivalled talent that is about to BOOM.

Eleanor wears many different hats at Passionfruit, and spans her work across events and content. Currently Eleanor is in charge of owning +20 events a quarter, a third of which are in multiple cities across the USA, and the rest in Europe! The mandate is simple, to get the world’s leading marketers to break bread over their marketing challenges, all in a uniquely beautiful setting (be it the nicest brekkie/dinner spot in the city!). Eleanor monitors our various channels for driving attendees to events (AI powered cold-email campaigns, LinkedIn outbound, CRM, creative stunts) and creates both delicious copy and physical collateral that drives people to our events program worldwide.

Our Freelancers!
Our most exciting campaign to date sees the launch of our new B2B Reality TV Show (link ‘‘Building Passionfruit’ (link to the Building Passionfruit page) which has been entirely produced by our freelance specialists in the UK, Europe and the USA!
Now, I’d be lying if I said juggling everything isn’t easy. In fact, it’s really bloody hard. I’m frequently in the weeds of Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, searching for the right impersonation, or cultural observation to parody. All whilst trying to ensure we drive meaningful leads into the business at Passionfruit.
But the truth of the matter is I love it. My Dad once told me to try and find a job where it feels like play and not work. And that’s what I love here about Passionfruit.
And the simple fact of the matter is that it is very much working in driving customers. I couldn’t be prouder to say that our marketing endeavours in 2025 have brought in (as of July 20th) 25 new paying customers, as much as retaining and re-engaging our current portfolio.
So if you’re a business looking for a freelancer, a fellow marketer, or a content creator, do get in touch with us three! It would be fabulous to hear from you.
