What we do

Passionfruit is the world’s fastest growing marketing freelancer platform. We’ve raised $13.3m across a seed round and recently a Series A round from top VCs in Europe and the US (firstminute, FJ Labs, Playfair, Seaya) to change how people and businesses work — and we’re just getting started.

Initially our customers were seed stage startups, but nowadays we are also partners with scale-ups (Miro, Mixpanel, etc) and global brands like PepsiCo, Mars andSpeedo as well.

In a nutshell we are creating a genuine and robust alternative to full time work, by creating a platform for anyone who wants to work, learn and earn as a freelancer.

Right now, 70% of freelancers are men over the age of 45. This is because they are the ones who typically have the relationships and Rolodexes to get consistent well paying work as a business of one.

For the rising generation of workers, freelancing is a pipe dream or at best a hard slog. Even for the well connected that do “go freelance”, it’s an unpredictable life. Many try and end up having to return to full time work.

Passionfruit exists to make that freelance career choice sustainable and rewarding for everyone who wants it, long term.

To make that happen, we have a huge challenge on the other side of our marketplaces: to change the way that businesses operate their talent bases.

For various reasons, we’ve started by focusing on marketing departments. Today, these departments have two muscles they know: full time hiring and agencies. Both are broken— agencies are incredibly expensive, demand annual retainers and unless you’re paying the most or complaining the loudest, the work is not always great, meanwhile full time hiring is frozen for now and there is scar tissue around future hiring after mass layoffs in the last 3 years.

Passionfruit, for businesses, exists to give them a third way to run talent in their teams: an agile talent layer which lets them plug and play specialist freelance marketing talent into their teams as and when they need them. This is both more efficient (teams are the size they need to be) and more impactful (teams have the correct skill sets they need).

Key responsibilities

  1. CRM Strategy and Execution
    • Skills :
      • Lead on the entire implementation of our CRM, informing both the strategy and execution to make the most out of driving leads for PF.
      • Design, implement, and optimize workflows, pipelines, and dashboards in HubSpot.
      • Integrate CRM tools with third-party platforms for seamless data flow and automation.
      • Analyze CRM metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
    • Responsibilities :
      • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot.
      • Understanding of CRM integrations, API workflows, and customizations.
      • Data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  2. Data Enrichment and Automation Architecture
    • Skills :
      • Work alongside our Head of Marketing to rigorously define and iteration our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), based on market research and data insights from the PF platform that can be used for go-to-market activations (namely our events program!).
      • Design automated workflows for lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign personalization.
      • Ensure data quality, compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and accuracy.
    • Responsibilities :
      • Strong proficiency in the use of Hubspot.
      • Proficiency in enrichment tools (e.g. Clay, Clearbit, Cognism, Lusha).
      • Automation tools like Zapier, Make (formerly Integromat), as well as Hubspot Operations Hub.
      • Deep market research and analytical skills.
      • Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, or Clearbit.
      • Ability to synthesize customer insights into actionable personas.
  3. Outbound Automation
    • Skills :
      • Experience with LinkedIn automation tools (e.g Amplemarket) and any email sales-led outbound software.
      • Strong copywriting and personalization expertise.
      • A/B testing and performance optimization.
    • Responsibilities :
      • Create and manage both LinkedIn and Email automation strategies for personalized, scalable outreach.
      • Develop outbound messaging that drives participation to our specific GTM - Passionfruit’s events program.
      • Monitor campaign performance, optimize templates, and ensure authenticity.
